Coffee and Cigarettes: Seahawks Links for Saturday
Fox 29 News in Philadelphia reports, according to unnamed sources, that Brock was arrested after he engaged in a minor struggle with police when questioned about allegedly skipping out on a $27 bill. A female server at the Copacabana told NFL.com that it was the behavior of a woman accompanying Brock that led the couple to leave without paying their bill."2011 Fantasy Football Sleeper: Ben Obomanu : "It’s always nice to have an edge in fantasy football and know some unknown players that your other league-mates might not know about. In this article I’m going deep and letting you know about little known Ben Obomanu ."
Will the Seahawks pursue CB Nnamdi Asomugha? - Blog - MyNorthwest.com ESPN's John Clayton thinks Nnamdi Asomugha's age and his steep price tag will likely keep the Seahawks from pursuing the All-Pro cornerback, though he didn't rule out the possibility. Asomugha, who turns 30 next month, reportedly made $28.5 million in the first two years of a three-year deal he signed with the Raiders before the 2009 season. The final year of that deal was voided when Asomugha failed to reach certain incentives last season, meaning the All-Pro cornerback will be among the league's most prized free agents once a new labor deal is reached."
Ultimate Rankings: Rams, Seahawks surge - NFL Nation Blog - ESPN Brooks didn’t speculate on where Pryor might go in the supplemental draft, but he didn’t think it would be a wasted pick for a team that had time to develop him. "Although he is raw in several aspects of the position, I like his athleticism and arm strength," he said. "He will certainly need a lot of time to develop, but if he really works at his craft, there is no reason why he couldn’t be an effective QB as a pro.""
NFL.com Blogs " Blog Archive Three and out: Palmer trade could happen " I guess not everyone believes Mike Brown will retire to his bunker once free agency opens, putting up a heavy guard against a potential deal for Carson Palmer. NBC analyst and three-time Pro Bowl receiver (not to mention former Bengal) Chris Collinsworth believes Mike Brown will trade the disgruntled quarterback when the lockout eventually ends."
NFL.com news: Sources: Some owners demanding better financial protection Between unrestricted free agents and undrafted college players, there could be more than 700 players hitting the open market in the next few weeks. GMs, coaches, agents and - mostly significantly - players and their families are going to be heavily impacted by the newly hatched free agent rules. Action on the available players is going to be fast, especially if training camps are going to open as scheduled in late July. And so much is still unknown. For instance, the answer to the basic question of whether free agency will begin for players with four vested seasons (the old model), six vested seasons (a possibility) or the middle ground of five.

Ultimate Rankings: Rams, Seahawks surge - NFL Nation Blog - ESPN: "The rankings evaluate 122 professional franchises across the following categories: bang for the buck, fan relations, ownership, affordability, stadium experience, players, coaching and

The eight categories includes bang for the buck, fan relations, ownership, affordability, stadium experience, players, coaches and title track (championships won or expected to win during the lifetime of current fans). Obviously this is embarrassing,
Q: Mike, your Gary Guyton "underrated" post got me thinking … who do you think are the top 5 Patriots in terms of bang for their buck? Who are our best players who are underpaid with respect to their comparables around the league?
The NFL lockout, which has—with a brief interlude for the 2011 NFL Draft—cast a terrible pall over what is usually an unpredictable, exciting offseason, could be on its way to ending sooner than anyone expected. Mike Freeman of CBSSports.com reports
After high school, he played in college and had tryouts with two NFL teams before playing professionally with the San Antonio Toros. Eugene Canavan is remembered for being one of the best all-around athletes in Boerne ISD history.
ESPN: Bears 74th Best Franchise in Ultimate Team Rankings; 14th in ...
Should be in the Top 5 in the NFL, and the Cubs should be #122 overall. You can’t argue with the Bulls, I mean “The Dynasty” and all. It’s hard to place the Sox, with them being second fiddle to the “lovable losers”, even after winning the world series. But, I just can’t help feeling like the Bears should be at least, in the top 20 overall.
I mean, they Yankee’d the Cup last year and everyone forgets that they weren’t on TV for 10 years, the stadium was nearly empty, and Wolves games were far more entertaining.
Also, this list is terrible. Notice how the Jets and Giants stadium score is different, the Cubs have a higher chance of winning a title then the Bengals (the team that won the division two years ago), also there are 31 teams ahead of the Heat in Title expecting, that includes the White Sox, Celtics, Lakers, Buccaneers, and the team right behind the Heat in expecting to win a title, the Denver Broncos.
This list is a crock, just assigning numbers to franchises for the past week and decided to go with it.
We’ve developed a unique email newsletter that delivers the five most interesting Bears stories fans are talking about every week. Each email is curated by an SB Nation editor who follows the Bears the way you do: as a fan. Catch up and stay on top with one email containing stories worth your time.
